Children’s Residential Trainee Registered Manager (Full time)
Salary circa £26,500 - £29,500 depending upon qualifications, experience and inclusive of sleep-ins.

We have an exciting opportunity for people currently working in children’s residential care to join our team in our training role as a Trainee Registered Manager. We are looking for ambitious individuals who have experience as a senior care worker or deputy manager who would like progress to running their own home as a Registered Manager.
The Place, Young People’s Company are a leading provider of care for children with all our homes on the boarders of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. Due to current and future growth, we are looking to recruit management trainees on a bespoke programme to become Registered Managers of the new homes we open in the future. You work as part of a team working with children aged between 7-17 years old to provide a nurturing and positive ‘parenting’ environment and build positive relationships with the children in our care, meeting their needs, safeguarding them at all times, and working to the standards set in children’s legislation and the homes working practices. You should be trustworthy, honest, compassionate, and reliable. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and experience working in children's homes is essential for the Trainee Registered Manager position, as is a commitment to attaining the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare as part of your role.
