What is YP-MATS?

The Young Peoples Multi-Disciplinary Assessment and Therapy Services (YP-MATS) is a team that brings together the expertise and skills of different professionals to assess, plan and manage the care jointly of our young people. This gives the people in our care access to an entire team of experts and allows them to receive collaborative supports from a wide range of evidence based treatments. This process works to ensure that every young person is given access to the best possible treatment options that are currently available.

At YP-MATS we believe that properly timed clinical and therapeutic interventions can transform a young persons life and above all we believe that young people can start to make healthy choices with a new level of maturity and understanding.
